The ACA has negotiated with some hotels in Ottawa for preferential room rates for ACA congress attendees. These hotels are located in the downtown area, and are linked by public transit to Carleton University’s campus.
All reservations are the responsibility of the individual conference attendees. Hotels in the blocks are on a first-come, first-served basis. There are a limited number of rooms available in each block, and the block will be released to the public at least a month prior to the conference.

Constructed in 1862, this building was the Old Carleton County Gaol. It has been transformed from a jail to a hostel, and offers the opportunity to sleep in old jail cells.
