Current Initiatives

The Committee is working with the Program Committee for the 2021 conference to include a professional development stream as part of the conference, and it is working on identifying member's development needs and looking for ways to deliver relevant local and regional instruction and training at other times during the year. The Committee is researching the pros and cons of accreditation, for graduate archival education programs, and for professional archivists. (Updated February 2021).
