Annual ACA Conference

The ACA hosts an annual conference throughout Canada. The conference consists of panel and individual presentations, workshops and lightning talks and is a great opportunity for archivists to talk about projects and meet other professionals.

The conference theme changes from year to year. Please see the menu on the right for more information about the current, future and past conferences and important dates.

2024 ACA Annual Conference

June 11 to 13, 2024 (Virtual)

Alberta is thrilled to announce it will be hosting the 2024 ACA Virtual Conference! Alberta is on the traditional lands of 45 First Nations who represent the Blackfoot, Cree, Chipewyan, Dene, Tsuut’ina, Saulteaux and Stoney Nakoda peoples and is the home to the Métis Nation of Alberta. These lands have a rich history that we are excited to share with the archival community in 2024. This Conference will be an opportunity for us to showcase over 50 archives from large urban centres to rural-based community archives. Over 100 archivists and archival workers from the province are looking forward to virtually welcoming attendees from around the world in new and creative ways!
