Annual General Meeting (AGM)The Annual General Meeting of the Association of Canadian Archivists will take place June 22, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. EDT online via Zoom teleconference. Anyone is welcome to attend the AGM, but only eligible Individual Members and the delegates of Institutional Members are able to participate in votes. What to Expect? The AGM is an opportunity for the Board, Committee Chairs, and Task Force Chairs to report on their activities over the past year. In addition, members may put forward motions to the Board that require member votes. Elections: Nominations for directors closed June 1, 2021. There will be no proxy ballots for the 2021 AGM. In accordance with revised election and voting policies and procedures. The results of the online election will also be announced. The slate of candidates will be presented to the Board June 4 for approval. Online voting will open June 14 and close end of day PDT, June 20, 2021. All members in good standing will receive an online ballot via email. Institutional members should ensure that their designated representative is clearly identified and up to date in their membership profile. If you need support entering your delegate name or updating your form, please reach out to the ACA Office. Members will be asked to approve the minutes from the 2020 AGM. The 2022 budget will also be presented along with 2020 financial statements for ACA. There will be a special meeting of the ACA Foundation in the fall.
