Annual General Meeting (AGM)The Annual General Meeting of the Association of Canadian Archivists will take place June 19, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. (EDT) / 10:00 am (PST) online via Zoom teleconference. Anyone is welcome to attend the AGM, but only eligible Individual Members and the delegates of Institutional Members are able to participate in votes. What to Expect? The AGM is an opportunity for the Board, Committee Chairs, and Task Force Chairs to report on their activities over the past year. In addition, members may put forward motions to the Board that require member votes. Members Input Session: Any member who wishes to raise issues or questions regarding the association are invited to attend the Members Input Session. The meeting will take place online via Zoom, May 29, 2024, 1:00 pm (EST)/ 10:00 am (PST). To register, go here: Members Input Session Online Election: May 31, 2024 (following the Members Input Session and closes June 13, 2024 11:59 (PST) The results of the online election will also be announced. The slate of candidates will be presented May 31, 2024 for approval. All members in good standing will receive an online ballot via email. Institutional members should ensure that their designated representative is clearly identified and up to date in their membership profile. If you need support entering your delegate name or updating your form, please reach out to the ACA Office. Members will be asked to approve the minutes from the 2023 AGM. The 2024 budget will also be presented along with 2023 financial statements for ACA. Please refer to the Annual Reports for further details on the work of the association this past year. |
