Conference Planning Committee:

The conference planning committee was established to oversee the ACA’s conference, particularly dealing with the policies and long-term planning of the event.  This includes the determination of the location of the physical location of in-person conferences, conference themes, calls for volunteers, update membership on conference progress, coordinate regular meetings with the Host and Program teams, assure that timelines are met, and troubleshoot where required. The CPC meets monthly throughout the year.

Conference Program Team:

The Conference Program team is responsible for the content of the conference sessions, including keynotes, and sessions. The program team puts out the call for papers, selects the proposals, determines the schedule, and shepherds the conference sessions. They oversee the delivery of the sessions over the duration of the conference. The conference program team meets regularly from the early fall up to the conference in June. For in-person conferences, members of the program team are expected to attend the conference.
