Governance Committee

The Governance Committee is chaired by the Vice-President and advises the Board of Directors on the overall governance of the ACA. Specific duties include:

  • Encourages continuity and consistency in all ACA operations
  • Ensures all Board and Committee activities are aligned with the ACA Strategic Plan, ACA Equity Commitments, and ACA Bylaw #1
  • Reviews and recommends changes to ACA policy to meet the needs of the Association and its membership
  • Reviews and updates all ACA policies and codes as directed and required
  • Supports strategic planning and benchmarking of strategic priorities
