Sound and Moving Images Special Interest Section

Hello everyone,

My name is Michael Marlatt. I work in audiovisual archival accessibility. I am based out of New Brunswick and am the new chair of ACA's Sound and Moving Image Special Interest Section. SMISIS is hosting a drop-in meeting on Thursday January 16th at 3pm EST. There isn't a detailed agenda and you do not have to have been actively involved in the section previously to attend. This is an informal meeting meant as an opportunity to socialize and think about the direction that we want to take SMISIS in 2025. We will also chat about Film Bytes, which is a series of short films screened at the ACA conference. Hope to see you there.
