The Provincial Archives collects, preserves, and makes accessible for research the province’s historical records from government and individuals, organizations, businesses, and associations. The Archives also provide expertise and advice to the government about records and information management, policy standards, and the development of sound record-keeping practices in the public sector.

As the custodian of the documentary heritage of Saskatchewan, the Archives connects with the public, organizations, and government to make the provinces’ rich collections engaging and accessible through online and in-person discovery.
