Helping archivists promote archives and the profession

The ACA recognizes that archivists can be influential voices to educate Canadians on the value of archives and the contributions of our profession. That’s why we provide attractive, low-cost tools to help you communicate more effectively and efficiently.

Our collection includes information sheets for Canadian archivists ("How to...?" and "What is...?") as well as technical booklets on Aboriginal, Business, Medical and Municipal archives, to support institutions as they establish and preserve archives. You can download these tools for free or order printed copies for a modest price (to help the ACA recover expenses).

The ACA also makes an attractive display unit available to archival organizations for on-site displays and participation in trade shows. The unit is available at no cost aside from the delivery to your location.
